ABOUT SHAYNA FONTANA
Chicago-born artist Shayna Fontana is a conceptual artist whose practice focuses on surrealist photography. Fontana quickly establishing a career shooting fashion editorials and advertisements in New York City with clients that include Gucci, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. Now based in Dallas, Fontana has become acclaimed for her perspective-shifting fine-art photography, using a singular point of view and fresh perspective to reimagine and reframe ordinary items—shoes, cherries, tennis rackets—into dynamic objects. Her collaboration with Prospect continues Fontana’s exploration of the boundaries at the intersection of art and the everyday.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION: BEYOND THE WORLD
In Fontana’s latest project, she combines her two favorite artistic expressions - her passion for the culinary and her immense talent in photography. With this collection of fine-bone porcelain plates and platters, Fontana challenges our notion of dining in a fantastical fashion, blurring the line between fact and fiction in the vein of Dalì and Oppenheim.

All orders purchased from Friday, November 1–Tuesday, December 31, 2023 will be eligible for return or exchange until Friday, February 28, 2024 as part of our extended holiday return policy. For refunds, you may choose between a credit to the original payment or store credit. All other terms and conditions of our Return Policy remain in effect.

To be eligible for return, all items must be in original, unused condition with original tags. Custom orders, altered apparel, and other items marked “Final Sale” are not eligible for return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
To return your order by mail: To reduce waste, we do not automatically include a return form. Instead, email us at help@fortyfiveten.com with your order number and the item you wish to return and we will send you return instructions and a pre-paid shipping label within one business day. A $10 return shipping fee will apply.
To return your item in store: Bring your invoice and eligible items to our Downtown Dallas store within 14 days of receipt.
