The SHIATZY CHEN story began in 1978 with a big idea: fuse classic Chinese craftsmanship with a modern East-meets-West aesthetic. The goal, which they more than delivered on, was to create a whole new kind of style—dubbed “neo-Chinese chic”—through contemporary looks that feature traditional elements of fine Chinese embroidery and art.
