Designer Boutique merging Fashion and Art | Forty Five Ten

Forty Five Ten makes its New York debut inside Manhattan’s groundbreaking Shops at Hudson Yard at the end of the High Line. Situated on Level 5 between Momofuku’s Kāwi and Bouchon Bakery, the 16,000-square-foot space boasts a glass-brick storefront and architectural details by renowned artist Daniel Arsham’s firm Snarkitecture. Additional artists, including New York-based Greg Bogin, collaborated on fixtures and installations throughout the space.

Four distinct, gallery-inspired environments showcase a mix of luxury and emerging brands across Women’s, Men’s, and Design. Two highly curated sections, VINTAGE and 4510/SIX, narrow the brand’s focus on hand-selected vintage and artfully independent designers respectively.

We love Sacai for the line's penchant for juxtaposing materials. Contrasting custom fabrics are seamlessly woven together to merge edginess and femme, oftentimes using techniques the designer Chitose Abe honed at her time with Comme de Garcons. Deemed “hybrid aesthetic,“ Sacai is for the woman who likes a futuristic translation of timelessness.
