It’s only been a year since New York-based painter Caitlin Keogh debuted her first solo museum show at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. However, her impressive body of work and instantly recognizable graphic style has made her an artist quickly on the rise.
Earlier this year, Keogh was honored by the Whitney Museum of American Art to create a work to be auctioned during the 2019 Art Party, co-sponsored by Forty Five Ten. Proceeds from the annual event went to benefit the Whitney’s Independent Study Program.
“We sponsored the Whitney Art Party because we’re true fans of their mission and programming,” says Kristen Cole, Forty Five Ten President and Chief Creative Officer. “I got the pleasure of meeting Keogh and we developed an idea to collaborate on a project that would tie back to the piece she created for Art Party and further benefit the museum. She’s such a thoughtful artist who I admire; I loved working with her.”
The result of their collaboration is limited-edition, unisex silk tees featuring the work “Lines in a nymph’s body.” Available exclusively at Forty Five Ten, a portion of proceeds from the sale of the tees will go to benefit the Whitney.
While the tee will be available in our Dallas, Aspen, and Miami stores (as well as online) New York shoppers will enjoy a special treat: the tees are displayed in-store alongside the original painting Keogh created for the Whitney.
