Partners in business and life, John and Clara Malloy have imagined a collection of fragrances inspired by far-flung destinations they’ve visited and loved. Their background is international: John grew up in Ireland, and Clara in Andalusia. Their travels have taken them to Tanzania, Tibet, Morocco, and Marfa. Along the way, Clara has kept diaries of her travels with ticket stubs, pictures, and poems—she is a writer, after all. Her “memos” from the road inspire not only the scents themselves, but their lyrical descriptions. Shams Oud, for instance, is a “an oud in the house of the sun.” Moon Fever is “the leather side of vetiver” and Inlé is “an osmanthus submerged in a cloud of tea.”
