Few labels have launched to more acclaim—or made such an impact more quickly—than Monse. From the debut Spring 2016 collection, co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia established a strong identity built around relaxed glamour and innovative takes on the classic cotton shirt. Kim and Garcia, who also lead the design team at Oscar de la Renta, named their brand (pronounced MonSAY) for Garcia’s mother.
